“I RESOLVE TO . . .”
This is our Theme for 2012. It is taken from Joshua 1:9—“Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Just three words to challenge us in 2012. “I resolve to . . .” calls us to our core values of living and sharing/caring our Christianity. It makes us stop and clarify our habits and actions. It gives us a new vision of living in 2012.
What is YOUR vision for yourself in 2012? What is your vision for your family in 2012? What is your vision for FBC in 2012? If these are your visions, what are you resolved to do to bring these about?
“I resolve to . . .”- help in the Children’s Department.
“I resolve to . . .”- attend more services.
“I resolve to . . .”- support my church’s mission/ministry in a greater way.
What are you going to “Resolve to . . .?”
“I resolve to . . .” means I trust God, not gold. I will be courageous in bringing about my visions and ask god to encourage me and fill me.
A new year and a new dare: “I resolve to . . .” Don’t be terrified, God is with you.

Rev. Gage
